1/36 The Old Vicarage (formerly listed as 24.1.67 The Vicarage)

House, sometime alehouse. C17, extended c.1800 and mid C19. Timber framed and refronted with red and blue brick, with fish-scale tile hanging to right. Plain tiled roof. Lobby entry plan. One storey and attic main range on plinth, with brickwork of 2 periods (later C18 to left). Roof with 2 gabled dormers with moulded sills and bargeboards, stacks to rear centre and cluster to centre right. Return hip of rear wing oversailing roof ridge to right. Four leaded cross-windows with segmental heads and shutters, and door to centre right of 6 raised and fielded panels and C19 gabled and half-timbered porch. Two storey half- hipped wing to right, and rendered and slated wing to rear with tripartite and margin light sashes in moulded surrounds. Interior: portions of frame visible.
