Description from record TR 06 SW 140:
Two-storey building, probably c1500
The two-storey building is now in several tenements but originally consisted of an open hall, parallel with the street and running north-south, flanked by two wings roofed at right angles to the street. Built circa 1500, the building has a plastered timber frame with a tiled roof. The north wing was originally only as long as the width of the hall, a timber framed single-bay extension was added in the early 16th century. The south wing has been much rebuilt and it is not possible to determine its original length. The hall was floored over in the mid 17th century. By the time of the survey the building had been divided into three shops
