Summary

Grade II* listed building. Main construction periods 1567 to 1599. This is a house probably dating from the 15th century, with major additions and modifications in the 17th century. Although referred to as a Malthouse there is no evidence to support this, except for a hint at the former presence of a malthouse in an adjacent field.
