1/57 Lewson House (formerly listed under Teynham C.P. 27.8.52 as Plough Cottage and Farmhouse

House, sometime cottages. C16. Timber framed and clad with red brick and weather board with plain tiled roof. Lobby entry plan 4 framed bays with projecting wing to rear. Entrance front: 2 storeys with continuous jetty and hipped roof with gablets and stacks to centre right, and free-standing end left, of English bond brick, with a single large heart design in relief on each face. Three glazing bar sashes on each floor and ribbed and studded door to centre right in four-centred arched doorway and moulded surround. Rear: projecting 2 storey hipped wing to left and red brick outshot to right with gabled dormer. Irregular fenestration of wooden casements.
