Monument record TQ 95 NE 3 - Romano-British cremation burials, Painters Forstal, Faversham

Summary

In 1920, three complete Roman cinerary urns were found in a gravel pit near Kennaways, Painters Forstal. Coins of Licinius were also found at this spot, dating the burials to around 300AD. The gravel pit has since been filled in and the ground levelled.
