House with railings. Early C19. Red brick and plain tiled roof. Three storeys and parapet to hipped roof with stacks projecting at end left and at end right. Three sashes on second and first floors, 2 on ground floor, all with gauged heads. Central boarded door with semi-circular fanlight in gauged surround. Interior: room with French painted wallpaper hung in 1836. Scenes depicting the Conquest of Peru and the Telemachus legend (see Country Life, June 7, 1956). Railings to forecourt: cast iron, with fleur-de-lys and spear heads. (1-2)
