Summary

Grade II listed building. Stable block about 10 metres north of Throwley House. Built in the 17th century and remodelled in the early 19th century, it is now accomodation. The building is of painted brick in English bond and has a slated roof. The front is in two stages, that to the right projecting slightly. There are three open elliptical arches to the left on the ground floor and three narrower semi-circular arches to the right.

TR 05 NW SHELDWICH ASHFORD ROAD (west side) 1/62 Stable block about 10 metres north of Throwley House
GV II
Stable block, now accommodation. C17 remodelled early C19. Painted brick in English bond. Slated roof. Two storeys and hipped roof. The front is in 2 stages, that to right projecting slightly. Six glazing bar sashes on first floor over the whole, 3 open elliptical arches on plain piers to left on ground floor, 3 narrower semi-circular arches to right with gauged heads, that to left with panelled door, the other 2 blank. Single storeyed extension to right. Group value with Throwley House.
