Full Description

The following text is from the original listed building designation:
RAMSGATE ROYAL ROAD TR 3764 NE (east side) 12/359 Nos. 11, 13, 15 and 17 with railed Areas GV II Terrace row. 1826-36. Stock brick with rendered details No. 11 pebbledashed. Slate roof. Three storeys, basement and attic. Rusticated base with string courses to first and second floors and Ionic pilasters to cornice parapet. Seven dormers and stacks ranged left to right. Two glazing bar sashes and 6 sashes to second floor all with painted heads. Eight margin light French doors with rectangular fanlights on first floor, and tented verandahs with trellis piers and simple rails. Tripartite bows on ground floor with sashes and pilasters. Boarded doors to left of bows with traceried semi-circular fanlights. Fleur-de-lysrails to basement areas, except to No. 15 with brick wall of no interest. Built to same design and time as Nos. 4-44 and 5, 7 and 9 Royal Road as part of same development.
