The following text is from the original listed building designation:
RAMSGATE NELSON CRESCENT TR 3864 NW 13/266 No. 8 and railed Area 3.10.77 GV II Terrace house, now hotel. 1798-1801. White stock brick, in part rendered, with slate roof. Four storeys with basement, with rusticated ground floor and parapet to roof with central stack. Three sashes with gauged heads on 2nd and 3rd floors. Three full height sashes on 1st floor, with 3 bay elliptical arcaded verandah on wooden brackets, with wrought balustrade. Two sashes on ground floor with half-glazed door to right with semi-circular fanlight in pilaster and cornice surround at head of flight of 5 steps. Large plate glass window and glazed door to basement. Urn-finial rails.
