The following text is from the original listed building designation:
RAMSGATE NELSON CRESCENT TR 3864 NW 13/269 No. 12 and railed Area 3.10.77 GV II Terrace house, now hotel. 1798-1801. White stock brick, part rendered, with concrete pantiled roof. Four storeys and basement with parapet to roof with central stack. Two sashes with gauged heads and central sunk panel on 3rd floor, canted mid C19 oriel to left and sash to right on 2nd floor, and 3 French doors on 1st floor, with corrugated tented verandah, with oval-pattern pierced piers with matching balustrade, the left hand section glazed-in. C20 metal casement on ground floor, with half-glazed and fixed door to right with reeded surround at head of flight of 5 steps. Sash and boarded door to basement. Crescent- headed rails with urn finial principals.
