The following text is from the original listed building designation:
RAMSGATE LA BELLE TR 3865 SE ALLIANCE SQUARE 10/242 No. 13 (The Camden Arms) 11.7.78 GV II Public house. Early C19, altered mid C19. Stock brick with slate roof. Three storeys and basement with parapet and stacks to end left and to end right. Regular fenestration of 3 glazing bar sashes on 2nd floor, 2 on 1st floor, all with rendered heads, and tripartite sash to right and bay with cornice and tripartitie sash to left on ground floor. Recessed half-glazed door to centre in panelled porch with baluster pilasters and large fascia and cornice with wrought iron spandrel below bearing name: Camden Arms. Three steps, basement openings to right. Named after a former Lord Warden of the Cinque Ports and a public house since at least 1841. (Busson, Ramsgate, 106).
