Full Description

The following text is from the original listed building designation:
RAMSGATE HIGH STREET TR 3865 SW (north-east side) 9/173 No.71 (Freemasons Tavern) GV II Public house. 1908. Green glazed tile, rubbed red brick and slate roof. Quadrant-shaped plan to main bar, with rectangular rear block. Two storeys, with rusticated pilaster strip quoins to modillioned eaves to hipped quadrant roof, with stacks to rear right. Three glazing bar sashes to first floor. Ground floor with plinth supporting columns with fascia. Recessed plate glass windows curving with facade and half-glazed doors to left and right, all with etched and stained glass with cusped decoration to frames. Rear block in utilitarian red brick. Interior: panelled dado, bar and ceiling, radiating out to quadrant circumference.
