The following text is from the original listed building designation:
RAMSGATE HIGH STREET TR 3765 SW ST LAWRENCE (north-west side) 7/195 Two headstones about 10 metres north east of Church of St Laurence GV II Two headstones to Pepper family. Martha, Elizabeth and Sarah Pepper. Early C18. Two segmentally headed inscription plaques,with 2 skulls and crossed bones in double segmental head. William Pepper, husband and father of the preceding, d.1746. Two and a half feet high, with foliated scrolled shoulders to segmental cornice, with winged cherub's head and palm fronds in clouds.
