QUEX PARK 1. 1380 BIRCHINGTON-ON-SEA Gun Tower in the grounds of Quex Park TR 36 NW 9/290

2. Built circa 1812. This tower was in fact used by a previous owner of Quex Park for signalling out to sea. A circular tower of brown brick. 4 storeys. Crenellated parapet with stone coping. 4 circular or round- headed window openings, some of which are blocked. Stringcourses. Simple cambered doorcases.
