Summary

Grade II* listed building. Main construction periods 1200 to 1899. 13th century and later, although fragment of a reused Norman window, restored in the 19th century by C N Beazley. Exterior of flint with stone quoins. Tiled roof. South-west tower with lancet windows and tiled spire. The interior has a 5 bay nave of 13th century date with North and South aisles. Renovated roof. 17th century pulpit. Early English font. In the Quex Chapel are a most distinctive collection of funeral monuments of the Crispe, Powell and Cotton families, the former owners of Quex Park, ranging from brasses, through table tombs to Elizabethan and Jacobean wall tombs and Georgian wall plaques
