The following text is from the original listed building designation:
RAMSGATE THE PARAGON TR 3764 SE + TR 3864 SW 18+19/289 No. 11 and railed Area 13.9.74 GV II Terrace house. Circa 1816. Painted and rendered brick and slate roof. Four storeys and basement with parapet to roof with stacks to left and to right. Two sashes with segmental heads on 2nd and 3rd floors. Two French windows on first floor with verandah with oval-pattern pierced piers and scrolled brackets to roof and with scrolled and bifurcated balustrade. Bow window to basement and ground floor, with 2 sashes and original oval and Greek key panelled door with semi-circular fanlight at head of flight of 5 moulded steps. Glazing bar sash to basement with half-glazed outer door. Spear rails. See item 19/284 for historical description.
