The following text is from the original listed building designation:
RAMSGATE CHATHAM STREET TR 3765 SE (east side) 8/92 No. 31 GV II House. Circa 1830. Painted brick with slate roof. Two storeys and basement with parapet and stacks to left and to right. Regular fenestration of 2 glazing bar sashes and central blank window recess on 1st floor, all with cambered heads, and 2 glazing bar sashes on ground floor with cambered heads. Basement opening to right. Central door of 2 panels in double rebated surround with keystone and moulded imposts.
