The following text is from the original listed building designation:
RAMSGATE GRANGE ROAD TR 3765 SW (east side) 7/119 Nos. 167 and 13.8.68 169 (The Cottage) GV II House, now house pair. Early C18. Red brick, with flint on side elevations, with tiled roof. Two storeys and garret on flint plinth with half-hipped roof and stack to end left. Two glazing bar sashes on each floor with central C20 panelled door in moulded surround with cornice, with all heads rendered. Boarded door and wooden casements to right return (road side), with irregular additions to rear, in part weatherboarded and with mixed brick and flint.
