[Area TQ 925543] Earthwork roughly sketched by G.Morris. Noticed Dec 1912. (1) TQ 92525433 This feature comprises a short stretch of bank which, turning through a right angle, extends 45.0m. from the edge of a small pond. It is possibly the remains of a minor enclosure connected with pannage (Cf TQ 95 SW 10 & 12 ) (2) A somewhat meaningless and presumably incomplete earthwork attached to the southern side of a large pond, on level ground in managed woodlands. From the corner of the pond a scarp 1.5m. high extends westward for 12m. then turns to the south as a bank 3m. wide and 0.3m. high accompanied by an outer ditch 2m. wide and 0.1m. deep. This continues for 33m. and stops abruptly. Sketch surveyed for NAR only. Not included on OS 1:2500 plan. (3)
