The following text is from the original listed building designation:
RAMSGATE ADELAIDE GARDENS TR 3864 NW (west side) 13/15 No. 31 GV II Terrace house. Circa 1830. Stock brick, part rendered, and slate roof. Three storeys and basement with string to 2nd floor and parapet with stack to right. Two glazing bar sashes on 2nd floor, and 2 storey and basement bow, with Ionic pilasters separating glazing bar sashes. Half-glazed door with semi-circular fanlight to left and flight of 5 steps. Single glazing bar sash to basement. Part of James Townley's redevelopment of Napoleonic War barracks site (see Busson, Ramsgate, 108-9).
