Summary

Grade II listed building. Main construction periods 1869 to 1940. The Granville Hotel was opened in 1869, the bar finally closing in 1991. In 1915, the property was taken over by the government and became The Granville Canadian Special Hospital. It was converted to private flats post 1946. A corner was detstroyed by a bomb on 12 November 1940, being re-built in 2004.
