The following text is from the original listed building designation:
UNION SQUARE 1. 5283 BROADSTAIRS Nos 5 & 6 TR 3967 NE 1/177 II GV
2. An early to mid C19 pair. 3 storeys and basement flint faced with buff brick dressings. Slate roof with 2 dormers. I cambered sash each with later shutters. Simple cambered doorcases with 6 panelled doors, the top 2 panels cut away and glazed.
Nos 1 to 7 (consec) form a group.
