MONKTON GORE STREET TR 26 NE (South Side) 1/55 Barns about 50 metres south of Gore Street Farmhouse GV II
Barns. C16 and C18. Timber framed on flint base. Weather boarded with corrugated iron roof. Hipped roof with hipped midstrey. Interior: 3 bays with aisles with passing shores to arcade posts. Clasped purlin roof with wind braces. Little replacement of timbers. Early C18 barn recessed to right, of 6 bays with aisles, the roof removed above tie beam level, clad with weather board and corrugated iron roof.
