ST NICHOLAS AT WADE THE STREET TR 26 NE (south side) 1/108 The Bell Inn 25.6.71 GV II
Public house. C17 and altered early C19. Timber framed and rendered with red brick rear wing. Plain tiled roof. Two storeys and hipped roof with stacks projecting at end left and at end right. Regular fenestration of 2 glazing bar sashes with shutters on first floor and 2 canted bay windows on ground floor. Central half-glazed door with flat hood on brackets. Left return: late C17 red brick wing with basket arched doorway and irregular fenestration of 3 wooden casements. Interior: frame visible.
