The following text is from the original listed building designation:
ST NICHOLAS AT WADE SUN LANE TR 36 NE (east side) 1/111 North Grange and The Grange 11-10-63
GV II House, now 2 houses. Early C18 and altered C19-C20. Brown brick with red brick dressings. Plain tiled roof. Two storeys and attic on plinth with moulded paired modillion eaves cornice to hipped roof with 2 raking dormers and stacks to left and to right. Regular fenestration of 5 glazing bar sashes on first floor and 4 on ground floor with flying cornices. Central half-glazed door with segmental fanlight and gauged surround. C20 outshot to left with half-glazed door under flat hood. Right return with plat band interrupted by 2 C19 canted bays connected by pentice.
