SARRE CANTERBURY ROAD TR 26 NE & TR 26 SE north side) 1/118 & 3/118 25.6.71 White Cottage and Elleswood GV II
House pair. Dated 1739. Red brick and plain tiled roof. Two storeys, attic and basement on plinth with plat band and coved eaves. Kneelered parapet gables, 2 hipped dormers and stacks to rear left and rear centre. Two glazing bar sashes alternating with blank panels on first floor, and 2 segmental headed glazing bar sashes alternating with half-glazed door to centre left and 6 panelled door, the top section glazed, to right, both with segmental headed basement windows. Terracotta panel on first floor inscribed R E 1739 Hipped single storey wing with attic to rear.
