The following text is from the original listed building designation:
SARRE OLD ROAD TR 26 NE (north side) 1/122 25.6.71 Bolingbroke GV II
House. Mid C17 and extended C18 to mid C20. Red brick with banded flint and plain tiled roof. Six bays altogether, those at end left projecting at an obtuse angle to the main range. Two storeys on plinth with plat band. Stacks to right and rear. Irregular fenestration of 10 segmental headed wooden casements on both floors. Central half- glazed double doors with sidelights in gabled and glazed porch. The earliest architectural features are concentrated on the right end bay , with flint bands and some diaper work. English Bond brickwork with galleting, pilaster strips on the corbelled plat band and corbelled cornice to shaped gable. Alphabetical wall ties: R C (or R S).
