Bridge. 1907. Faience facing by Doulton and Co, Lambeth, London. Steel girder bridge, outer girders faced in concrete; stack brick abutments. White, green and blue faience tile corner piers above abutments. Green faience plinth to ten panel iron balustrades connecting four corner piers of faience. Four piers with white tile octagonal corner turrets enclosing 4 panels of tiles with modillion cornice, in turn enclosing a white tile octagonal turret with green faience"leaded lights" to lantern, modillion cornice, and conical coping with green tile apex. NW pier inscribed "This bridge was erected to commemmorate the Jubilee of the Incorporation of the Borough of Margate 1857-1907."
