The following building shall be included in the list:
BROADSTAIRS CHURCH SQUARE TR 3967 NE 1/197 Wash-houses nos 3,4,5,6,7 & 8 II A series of wash-houses. Nos 3-5 (consec) early C19, nos 6-8 (consec) mid C19. Nos 3, 4 & 5 are flint-faced with yellow brick dressings and roof now covered in asbestos sheeting with 3 yellow brick chimneys. 1 storey. Each has a casement and plank door. No 4 retains the original copper. Nos 6, 7 & 8 are of stock brick with slate roof and 3 stock brick chimneys. Each has 2 casement windows and a plank door. No 8 retains a brick and stone copper: Social historical interest.
