The following text is from the original listed building designation:
HARBOUR STREET 1. 5283 (South West Side) BROADSTAIRS Windsor Cinema TR 3967 NE 1/108 II 2. Formerly York Gate Hall. Circa 1911. Originally intended as a museum for armour. This is in Neo-Georgian style and blends in well with older properties. 1 storey flint-faced. Pediment with modillion cornice and 1 round window. Slate roof. 6 pilasters. Central doorcase with curved pediment, which is now blocked and a nodern doorcase to the right hand side. 4 sashes and pedimented doorcase to the side elevation. Rear elevation has a Venetian window.
