The following text is from the original listed building designation:
RAMSGATE WEST CLIFF ROAD TR 3764 NE (south side) 12/428 No. 20 and railed Area GV II House. 1820's. White stock with flint to return elevations and slate roof. Two storeys and basement with parapet and stack to left. Two glazing bar sashes on first floor, and canted bay to basement and ground floor, with glazing bar sashes. Door of 6 panels to right, the top 2 glazed, at head of 7 steps. Glazing bar sash to basement. Simple rails to basement Area. Included for group value.
