Full Description

The following text is from the original listed building designation:
RAMSGATE CECILIA ROAD TR 36 NE (north side) 1/86 Headstone to Hephzibah and Alfred Pite, at 384 661, about 200 metres north- east of cemetery chapel GV II Headstone to Hephzibah (d.1892) and Alfred Robert Pite (d.1911). Stone with bronze plaques in Art Nouveau style. Moulded base to stone grave trim, with battered moulded side pieces and curved plain, affixed to this 2 bronze plaques with palm frond enrichment, the inscriptions in Arts and Crafts/ medievalised script. Top frieze with bead moulding and enriched with heart motifs and: In Loving Memory: inscribed in stone. Inscriptions on rear. The Family Grave of Alfred R. Pite. The whole is a striking and unusual design, constructed at least by Hayes and Son, monumental masons.
