Full Description

The following text is from the original listed building designation:
RAMSGATE KENT TERRACE TR 3864 NE (north and west sides) 14/229 13.9.74 Nos. 1 to 6 with railed areas GV II Terrace row. 1833-7. Stock brick, nos. 3-6 painted. Slate roofs. Three storeys and basement with cill band and parapet and stacks ranged left to right. Two sashes on wooden casements to each house unit on 2nd floor. Two storey bow to each house, with French windows on 1st floor. Tented verandah, with simple piers, screened upper sections, and geometric railings, the verandah not carried across No. 6. Tripartite glazing bar sashes to ground floor (except wooden casements to No. 1), with panelled (half-glazed) doors to right with semi-circular fanlights. Those to Nos. 5 and 6 fitted into re-entrant angle, No. 6 in recessed porch to left of facade. Fleur-de-lys rails to steps and to basement areas. (See item 14/230 ).
