The following text is from the original listed building designation:
RAMSGATE KING STREET TR 3865 SW (south-east side) 9/238 No. 99/101 (Earl St. Vincent) II Public house. Early C19, altered later C19. Rendered with slate roof. Two storeys in 2 levels, with roof hipped to left, with stacks to left and to centre left. Four sashes on first floor in moulded surrounds, with pilastered ground floor, with 3 frosted plate glass windows with panelled aprons, 2 half-glazed doors with rectangular fanlights, 3 windows and 2 doors to right, all with segmental heads. Basement opening to centre right. Panelled interior partition walls. The pub in 1814 occupied only the right half (No. 99) until expanded later C19 into a former corner shop. (Busson, Ramsgate, 98). Marked as Earl St. Vincent public house on Collard and Hurst's map of 1822.
