The following text is from the original listed building designation:
RAMSGATE EFFINGHAM STREET TR 3864 NW (east side) 13/102 Railings and wall about 20 metres west of Chancery House GV II Railings. C18. Wrought iron rails on rendered brick base. Low base wall, increasing in depth downslope with stone coping, with spear head rails with dog-rail, about 30 yards in length, ramped to central gateway with wrought iron arched piers, and simple gate with spear head uprights and ramped rail. The railings are recessed and returned to left about 5 yards with simple uprights.
