Full Description

The following text is from the original listed building designation:
RAMSGATE COTTAGE ROAD TR 3864 NW (north-west side) 13/100 Albion Lodge and gateway GV II House. Circa 1800. Rendered with slate roof. Double range with additional wings in plan. Entrance front: 2 storeys and garret with double span roof with parapet gables with stacks to front left and to rear. Glazing bar sash on each floor to right, tripartite on ground floor, with arched wooden casement to left. Half-glazed central door in panelled recessed surround. Two storey extension to right (rendered flint), with replacement metal casement. Attached to end right a gateway with rusticated piers with segmentally arched gateway with Greek key patterned overthrow. Garden front;regular fenestration originally of 3 glazing bar sashes to each floor, replaced to left with metal casement. The house is marked on Collard and Hursts 1822 plan.
