The following text is from the original listed building designation:
RAMSGATE ADDINGTON STREET TR 3764 NE (west side) 12/33 No. 27 GV II House and shop. Circa 1830. Stock brick with slate roof. In origin 2 separate buildings, that to left of 3 storeys with parapet and to right of 2 storeys and parapet with stacks to rear. Sash windows to top left with cambered head, with 2 identical bays on 1st floor, with sashes, moulded sunk panels and cornices. Large C19 plate glass canted shop windows, with recessed glazed door to centre, and recessed panelled door to left, all under fascia with modillion cornice.
