Description from record TR 37 SE 40:
(TR 3555 7105) Tudor House [NAT] (1) Nos 45 to 49 (odd) (Tudor House), King Street (N side). Grade II*. A beautifully restored C16 house. 2 storeys timber-framed built onto a flint plinth. Hipped renewed tiled roof with 2 brick stacks. Eaves supported on 11 carved brackets 1 close-studded. 1st floor has 3 mullioned windows with rectangular leaded lights. Moulded bressumer.3 mullioned and transomed windows on ground floor. Renewed carved doorcase with studded door. Right side elevation has a modern extension in matching style with patterns of diagonal and curved traces. The interior has a plaster ceiling and a frieze with repeated Prince of Wales Feathers (2). Restored C16th timber-framed house. Two-storeyed, with an over-hang all the way round, and oriel windows under it. Hipped roof. Moulded beams in the hall. Plaster ceiling in the solar and a frieze with repeated Prince of Wales Feathers. So the plasterwork is later than 1610 (3). Additional references (4-10).
