The following text is from the original listed building designation:
RAMSGATE HERESON ROAD TR 3865 SE (north-west side) 10/167 No. 18 (Ash House) GV II House and shop. Dated 1832 and late C19. Painted brick, with flint to rear elevations. Interlocking tiled roof. Two storeys and parapet to hipped roof with stacks to rear. Regular fenestration of 3 glazing bar sashes to first floor, 2 to ground floor all with rendered heads. Central half-glazed door, with date stone over: Ash House. Right return: 2 1832 blank window spaces on 1st floor, with plate glass canted shop front on ground floor with central recessed glazed door.
