The following text is from the original listed building designation:
RAMSGATE NELSON CRESCENT TR 3864 NW 13/273 No. 16 and railed Area 3.10.77 GV II Terrace house, now flats. 1798-1801, altered mid C19 with late C20 additions. White stock brick. Four storeys and basement, the top storey a C20 addition with 2 wooden casements, with canted oriel on 2nd floor with moulded bases to board cladding, and exposed concrete lintel over. Two full height sashes on first floor, with verandah with oval-pattern pierced iron piers and matching balustrade. Tripartite sash on ground floor with moulded blind hood, and half-glazed and panelled door to right with semi-circular fanlight in moulded surround with pilaster and dentilled cornice at head of flight of 6 steps. Sash and half-glazed door to basement. Bifurcated headed rails with spear- finial principals.
