The following text is from the original listed building designation:
RAMSGATE HIGH STREET TR 3665 SE ST. LAWRENCE (north-west side) 6/206 Group of 4 chest tombs about 35 metres north west of Church of St. Laurence GV II Group of 4 chest tombs. Henry Petley d.1858. Stepped base to plinth with sarcophagus, with reeded corner piers, raised side panels with chamfered corners and shaped top slab. Spear head rails. About 5 metres south east, on early C19 tomb, with reeded side panels and moulded top slab. Crescent headed rails with urn finial principals. Petley family, 1806 onwards. Moulded plinth to chest with baluster corner piers, reeded side panels and moulded top slab. Spearheaded rails with cup and cover finial principals. Barman Bourne, d.1831. Unrailed chest, with moulded base to fluted baluster corner piers, with raised and fielded side panels and moulded top slab.
