The following text is from the original listed building designation:
1. HADLOW ROAD 1732 Great Fish Hall TQ 64 NW 10/87 8.5.50.

2. Large square C18 house. 3 storeys. 5 windows facing in each direction. Red brick. Painted string-courses above ground and first floors. Parapet. Hipped slate roof of high pitch. Sash windows with glazing bars intact, except in centre of first floor and on ground floor of the west or entrance front, where modern bays have been built out. Also modern porch between these bays.

In June 2019 a thermographic survey was carried out to locate possible timber-frame and other concealed elements. A possible dragon beam was identified, as well as the location of some 18th century stud work and the location of three blocked dormer windows. (2)
