Full Description

Portion of flint celt, stained with oxide of iron, highly polished from use. Found on the surface, in the valley, between Teynham Church and the Railway. [Collection dispersed, mostly to Rochester, where above find is probably held.] (1). The Payne Collection has been dispersed to the British, Rochester and Maidstone Museums.
