HADLOW CHURCH STREET TQ 63 49 7/51 Simmons headstone approx 17m - south of the nave of the Church of St Mary

Headstone. Dated 1763 in memory of Robert Simmons. Sandstone. Upright slab standing approx 750mm with shaped head carved in low relief with a winged cherub head. The inscription in neat Roman serif upper and lower case lettering including some italics and records the death of 6-year old Robert Simmons.
