HADLOW CHURCH STREET TQ 63 49 7/39 Carrol headstone approx 2.5m - south of the chancel of the Church of St Mary

Headstone. Dated 1751 in memory of James Carrol. Sandstone. Upright slab standing approx 1.lm high with shaped head carved in low relief with a winged cherub head in front of trumpets and surrounded by scrolls. Inscribed with Roman serif upper and lower case lettering including some italics; it records the death of James Carrol in 1751.
