Full Description
[TQ 90386475] Belgic cremation in urn 18 inches west and 9 inches north of north-east corner of Court Hall, Milton. Potsherds and cremated bones found nearby. Remains of cemetery much destroyed. (a)(1) This cremation was found together with a flask and traces of inhumations in 1957 during the construction of a car park adjoining Court Hall. The pottery at present held by Mr. Ponton will eventually be displayed in Court Hall (2). Additional reference (3-5).
