1.8.52 Nos 1, 3, 4 and 5 Bank Cottages GV II
Row of cottages. Possibly originally of C16 date. Painted brick ground floor, fish-scale tile-hanging above, except No 4 with plain tile-hanging. Plain tiled roof. No 1 now united with the original No 2; it was formerly an inn and has a deep plinth with 2 basement windows. Two storeys; irregular fenestration of C19 casement and glazing bar sash windows. First floor 2+2+1+4 window arrangement; ground floor 4+2+1+2. Five entrances. No 1 with modern lean-to verandah, surrounded by modern applied framing. The entrance to the former No 2 now disused. No 3 retains flat hood.
