1.8.52 Old Allens GV II
Farmhouse. One C16 cottage and one C18 cottage joined by C19 central wing. Extremely irregular plan. To left coursed rubble stone ground floor with some galletting, tile-hung above. Centre of red and blue brick chequer. To right underbuilt on ground floor in red brick, exposed timber-framing above with plaster-infilling, extending round corner of block and along south side. Left-hand part of house projects forward. Moulded eaves to plain tiled roof with collection of mostly end stacks. Two storeys; extremely irregular fenestration of modern lttic casements. Off-centre boarded and ribbed door.
