Summary

Anglo-Saxon inhumation accompanied by a sword was found at Mere's Court, Murston in 1929. Precise location not known. The site lies on low ground, not far from Milton Creek, situated at the base of a gentle north-east facing slope, OD c. 5m., sub-soil Brickearth.
