BIRLING CP TQ 66 SE 3/99 Sandhole Farm Cottages
- II
Cottage group. C16 and C17. Timber-framed with elevations of limewashed plaster patched with brick. North gable with creosoted weatherboarding. Exposed framing on 1st floor to left of right-half. Half-hipped plain tiled roofs, higher to left. End stack with projecting chimney breast and 2 small gabled dormers, both to right. 2 storeys to left, 1 storey with attic to right. Irregular 4-window front to left, 2 windows to right. Panelled door off-centre to right of left hand block. Tall projecting gabled wing to rear with lean-to and catslide additions and extensions.
